The 15th "Marume Kurando celebration all 7-dan invitational championships" was held in Kumamoto pref. on 29th Nov.
Masahiro Miyazaki won for the 5 times!(2nd straight year!)
T.Ishida lots at semi-final.

Marume Kurando (1540-1629)
Born in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto pref.
He started kenjutsu when he was kid.
When he was 19 , he tried to beat Kamiizumi Isenokami (founder of Shinkage-ryu) who was known as a strongest worrior at that time, but he lost.Then he became a disciple of Isenokami.
When he was 28, he was conferred full mastership from Isenokami, and he intiate a new style "Taisha-ryu".
