This movie is from quarter-final of the 27 th All Japan Kendo Championship in 1979.
Kawazoe is a legendary jodan kendo-ka. He won 2 times at All Japan Championship.
In 1988, unfortunatelly he died with train accident in China when he was a teacher at Kochi Gakugei High School.
